The John Fraser 10 is recognised as the premier 10 mile race in Leicestershire and Rutland.
The 2011 race was one of the closest in the event's history, with Conor Murphy of Leicester Triathlon Club pipping veteran and former winner Gordon Lee of Leicester Coritanian by just 2 seconds. The podium places were completed by Tim Hartley of Barrow AC.
In the women's race, Nikki Nealon af Huncote AC won the race for a 5th time, ahead of Jane Ovington of Marshall Milton Keynes AC and Julie Lamb from host club Wigston Phoenix.

Conditions were deceptively warm, but 474 people completed the challenging 10 mile course, and we hope that all of you (and more) will be back for the 2012 event, provisionally scheduled for Sunday 2nd September.
